Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul: The social media star Jake Paul beat the legendary champion Mike Tyson with scores of 80-72, 79-73, 79-73.
Social media star Jake Paul defeated legendary boxer Mike Tyson by unanimous decision late Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in one of the most unlikely fights in sports history.
All three judges scored the bout in Paul’s favor with scores of 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.

The win improves Paul’s professional record to 11-1, while Tyson’s falls to 50-7.
“He’s exactly what I imagined him to be, one of the greatest fighters of all time,” Paul said after the fight.
Tyson was asked if he was officially done with boxing. He said he wasn’t sure.
“I don’t believe that,” Tyson said on the show. “Maybe it’s my brother (Logan Paul).”
Paul, 27, a social media star with more than 27 million followers on Instagram and about 21 million subscribers on YouTube, won the fight handily.

After an aggressive first lap, his age caught up with him. Tyson was sluggish for most of the bout and rarely landed any meaningful punches. His offensive performance dropped off significantly midway through the rounds. The much younger Paul used his jabs and hooks throughout the fight to hurt his opponent but not himself.
After the fight, Paul was asked who he wanted next.
“Anyone,” Paul said. “Everyone next.”
Paul made his pro debut in 2020. His victories include former UFC stars Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, Nate Diaz and Mike Perry. His only loss came last year by split decision against boxer Tommy Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
The 58-year-old Tyson is considered one of the best and most feared boxers of all time. He began his professional career with 19 straight wins, including 12 in the first round. He then knocked out Trevor Berbick at age 20, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history. Tyson dominated the division from 1987 to 1990, winning and holding the WBA, WBC, and IBF belts en route to a 37-0 start.
His first career loss was a 10th-round knockout loss to Buster Douglas in 1990, considered the biggest upset in boxing history.

Tyson has returned to the ring 20 times since that loss, compiling a 13-5 record, including two no-contests. He has not competed since a loss to Kevin McBride in 2005. He was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011.
In the co-main event, Katie Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano by unanimous decision (95-94 on all three judges’ cards). A rematch of their epic first meeting, the bout featured 324 punches landed and was another classic.
